This is a beautiful natural pale yellow Old Mine cut diamond, circa 1860, cut by hand this catches the light beautifully and has a typical high crown and small table facet. I’ve set this in a hand made button back bezel setting, with a double band shank all in 18ct yellow gold.
The diamond weighs 1.54cts and is in my opinion a Vs2/Si1 clarity. It has a couple of tiny inclusions but this is covered by the bezel setting. A truly unique ring.
